Woodies of Sussex is a family-run carpentry and construction contractor working across Sussex, under the motto "Carpentry to fit, construction to last". We designed and built their WordPress website, and we host and look after it.
Commercial and residential, side by side
The business works for two very different customers, and the site keeps them apart. Developers and contractors have a commercial page covering first and second fix carpentry, joinery and cladding. Homeowners have a residential page covering everything from kitchen refurbishments to full extensions.
A projects section that keeps growing
The projects page can be filtered between commercial and residential work, and each job is marked In Progress or Complete. It runs from new build housing developments to a barn restoration, a listed building renovation and a garden room, and the latest three projects appear on the homepage.
Pages for the towns they work in
The homepage lists 22 Sussex towns the team regularly works in, from Battle to Worthing, and each has its own local carpenter page. A blog and the team's phone number and email sit in the footer of every page.
