Career Analysts is a family-owned careers advice company, established in 1965, that pairs psychometric testing with one-to-one guidance from qualified advisers.
We gave its website a complete facelift: a new design throughout, built on the existing site rather than starting again.
A new design on the site that already worked
Every main page was redesigned from scratch. Underneath, we kept the website's core and a handful of established pages, so what the business and its customers relied on carried straight over into the new design.
Lighter and faster
Years of additions had left the site carrying heavy plugins and an old theme. We stripped those out and optimised the site for speed, so the new design loads quickly as well as looking the part.
Programmes for each stage of life
The site is organised around who is asking: programmes for teenagers choosing subjects and courses, for people in their twenties finding a direction, for career changers over 30, and for jobseekers. Separate pages cover careers advice, career tests, career counselling and career coaching, for visitors who search by service rather than by age.
Explaining how it works
The process is set out in three steps: a psychometric assessment of interests, personality and abilities, a private consultation with a careers adviser, and a personalised written report with specific career recommendations. Testimonials from past clients, labelled by programme, sit alongside it.
