Is it worth targeting the whole of Sussex?
Usually not in one go. It is easier to own the areas you already work in and expand outwards than to compete everywhere at once and rank nowhere. If you genuinely cover the county we will build towards that, but the early wins come from being specific.
Do you work with businesses outside Sussex?
Yes. Most of the work is done remotely, so where you are matters far less than whether local search is where your customers actually are.
How long does SEO take to work?
For most local businesses you will see movement in three to six months, and meaningful results by month six to twelve. Anyone promising page one in 30 days is either targeting keywords nobody searches for or is about to do something that gets you penalised.
Do you build backlinks?
We earn links rather than buy them. That means directories and citations, cross-links from relevant sites, and press releases we draft for you to send out. We do not buy links or run paid placement as part of a standard retainer, because bought links are a risk we are not willing to take with your domain.
Do I have to have my website with you?
No. We do SEO on sites we did not build, and we will tell you honestly if the site itself is the thing holding you back rather than the SEO.
